Made in England

We feel it is ideal for students who want to learn English to learn all about England and the UK, hence the theme Made in England. The course will focus on lifestyle, social, cultural and other issues.

The course runs for two weeks and includes initial assessments, social English, conversational skills, progress reports, a portfolio of completed work, final reports and certificates. Some of the topics covered include English Habits and Character, British Icons and Cultural Diversity in England.

Students will also have a leisure programme, the highlight being a trip to London, including a visit to the National Museum or the Victoria & Albert Museum, shopping in Oxford Street and a city tour. But there are other local trips to quaint English towns such as Lewes and Hastings, walks in the countryside and a visit to some historical castles.
