This course aims to equip students for a career in tourism. It will give students the language, skills and information to start their job in the industry while helping to build confidence in the learners.

Some areas that the course will cover include role-plays in real job situations, dealing with difficult customers and specialist vocabulary for the tourism industry. Some of the topics covered include: Taking Orders, Selling a Destination and Tour operators.

The course runs for two weeks and includes initial assessments, progress tests, a portfolio of completed work, final reports and certificates.

In addition, students can look forward to field trips to a variety of hotels ranging from boutique and five-star hotels to country manor hotels. There will also be organised outings to breweries and vineyards and wine-tasting events.
